Day 5, Rated 5/10

I have received some requests to have more video content, so here's a video of how my day started. Please lower your standards, as the clip is both short and of bad quality, as will be most others.

So the birds left, and my day went downhill after that. I was supposed to get my covid test at 9am. 9am came and went, so I decided to use the wait time to download some music. Now, while I realize that we live in the age of music streaming apps, I like to have music when there is no wifi, and I could either pay for that, or I could pirate it off YouTube. I tend to choose the latter. However, one hour in, my computer overheated, shut down, and I lost all of my newly-acquired music. So I was sad. Then I ate too much chocolate and had a stomach ache, but that's on me.

Then I had my covid test. I took this video right after having experienced it. This is an accurate depiction of my emotional and physical states, as I tend to be both addled and too shiny on a daily basis.

I apologize for the overuse of the filler word "like" as well as the non-PG remark at the end. In my defense, I was tired and I've referred to my previous qtip-insertion-related tests in a much lewder manner, so I had to make an effort here. Also I was too lazy to re-say everything. That's not a very good excuse. I'm going to make some pasta now. Ciao

  2. Hi Ada, it’s Tristan your Neighbor. I really like reading your blog! We’re a little behind and just finished day 5. I know the Covid test hurts because I did it too but got over it in 5 minutes. We’re very excited to read when you get on the boat.

    1. Hey Tristan and family! Glad that you like the blog. It's pretty cool that you got over your test in 5 minutes; when I did my first test, it took a few hours and too much chocolate. I remember that you like dinosaurs. I haven't seen any (yet), but I've seen a lot of birds, which are dinosaur descendants. Take care!
